When I first saw the Sith Troopers in theatres, they remind me of Defilers from Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. For any curious, Defilers are the "hands" of Tyber Zann carrying out special operations for his crime organization. This includes racketeering, intimidation, establishing black markets, sabotage, you name it. Obviously, Defilers would overpower Sith Troopers because they are more skilled and packed with heavy ordanance.
