Reference sheet for one of my super old characters, click here to see his old reference which I did back in... 2012!!

I probably won't keep his old name, 'Kuffer', but so far I didn't find/didn't came up with any new names that felt right for him. Idk, renaming OCs is super hard, but I still wanted to share this reference (which I had finished weeks ago) so for now he's just nameless I guess xD

Anyway, for those unaware, I'm working on slowly redesigning a bunch of my old characters, and 'Kuffer' was one of the easiest ones to revamp haha. Since Polaris has now brown colorpoint markings, I thought 'Kuffer' should have some browns and beiges in his design as opposed to his old B&W design. I was inspired by the tonkinese and siamese colorations found among cats and I tried to simplify a bit the stripes, making the rump and hind legs the only heavy-striped part of his body, and some stripes are lighter for purely aesthetic purposes lol.

Oh and btw, I'm also revamping 'Kuffer's' story/bio so ignore that info from his old reference. He's still related to Polaris and Kevin, but I don't know yet if as the biological father or an adoptive one...
