This painting was commissioned by Games Workshop for the cover of the Warhammer Fantasy Role Play supplement Realms of Sorcery.
I enjoyed trying to put all the details in.

Yes I am a sucker for detail. If anything I can get too carried away... that was a wraparound book cover and sadly most oft he left hand side ended up obscured by text!

I bet it still looks great though, just a shame that the text got in the way, but at least we can see the fab painting in full with all its detail.

It would have done well as a print I would have thought. Is there no way you could ask them? Maybe they might let you personaly sell prints if you put GW's mark on it? It would be such a great painting for a print.

Sadly their contract for all freelance artists prohibits prints. It is a long running gripe freelancers have against them. It is because they retain use of the image for whatever purpose they want, and they do use them for their items. the demon from Tome of Corruption appeared on a t-shirt. First I knew was when I saw their shop page
