I'm seriously impressed by the this. From the way you used contrasting elements (heat and frost) to the powerful visual style you used to pose the mans body and render it all, this is truly beautiful. I also like how the man is split between happiness and sadness. It seems to me you had a very clear artistic vision in what you wanted to show, and this seems to have perfectly captured that.

I can just see where the joy and sadness sides are so clearly, you did an excellent job at personifying how different the two emotions really are. One side is so cold-looking and the other side looks completely warm.

Is it just me or is there really a bizarre twist of childish playfulness mixed with darkness and fear in it?
The sea is like emotional turmoil....there's a really deep vein of anger and frustration from somewhere....helplessness.
I'm thinking Salvador Dali; especially Geopoliticus Child.
But what am I doing?! I forgot to praise you! It's melancholic and beautiful....and I hope you're not offended by all this, it's just my own interpretation. Your artwork's really like a mirror.
