Jen is a little guy who is homeschooled and works at both his parents workplaces- his mother is a Minoralogist and often sells some of what she's found(Jen goes out to collect some things for her and she sells them as the kiddie section often, though he's found things she's proud to let customers and teachers know he found something truly amazing. often its not too wild, she just wants to see that big smile. Often, Jen brings her geodes or small fossil bits, or really smooth colorful stones)

His dad is a candle maker and has been teaching him how to both dip and carve candles. He's learned how to carve wood from his dad as well as basic outdoor living knowledge- Jen knows how to identify some plants and berries for eating and which snakes or critters to leave alone when he goes to the creek to find mom some cool rocks.

Jen has always been like this and often his parents dont see eachother due to both jobs having long hours. He cant stay home alone so he goes to work with one or the other.
This has made his parents realize he ....has no friends. He's an incredibly polite kid but they worry he's lonely. So they have been planning to have him go to school and he can walk home in time for them to meet him half way.
