Okay, I wanted to draw/color something pretty, so I drew a picture of Ran and Conan from Detective Conan (<-I am OFFICIALLY in love with this show X3). Ran is so fun to draw xD

Yeah, so basically they're sitting in a field for some strange reason watching butterflies *nods* And one lands on Conan's head and Ran thinks it's funny because Conan is confused I guess.... It's just supposed to be cute and pretty.

Anyways, this picture comes from a whole bunch of messing around with Photoshop 5.5. I had seen several people use a "grass tool" to make the grass look real, but, unfortunately, the ability to do that doesn't come until version 6 or 7 >.< So I had to experiment to make the grass. It probably looks a bit wierd because Ran and Conan are outlined darkly (because the grass wasn't originally there when I drew it), but I like the outcome of it anyways.

This is also one of my few attempts to mess with the lighting, especially where the Sun is involved (though it might be off a bit). I love coloring with Photoshop, but sometimes it looks strange, so I'll probably keep experimenting like this to try and make the overall outcome look nicer.

That's basically all I have to say.
