Finally! Something that shows effort on my part. 8DDDD (hopefully). I did the line art for this during Spring Break (baaaack in March), and decided today that I was going to finish it. So I did. It's probably incredibly rushed. DDDD:

But, you know what? I really really liked the line art for this, and I really just want to get it posted before I stop liking it. (because that happens too much). o____o I can already see some things I need to go back and touch up, though.

On the picture, though. It's Fai, Sakura, Syaoran, Mokona, and Kurogane from the manga Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle by CLAMP. I still love it. (DON'T TELL ME WHAT'S HAPPENING IN IT RIGHT NOW. I haven't read past Ch. 146 yet!) Let's say they're in a world that has a lot to do with fishing and they have to join the trade to earn money. And, in the lake, there are, apparently, monstrous fish that swim incredibly close to shore.

Yeah. (the fact that it's not our world is my excuse for the fish and the turtle probably looking nothing like what they should. Nyaaaa.)

The water is mostly a texture that I found on: [link] . The grainy effect comes from a dotted texture that I found somewhere, and it's basically like screentones. I am officially bound and determined to improve my digital colouring skills. Especially when it comes to water and backgrounds. DDDD: The texture saved my liiiife.

I hope you like it, and that the background looks okay. (more like, I hope the water fits in. I've never used textures before)
