YEY. I finally coloured something in photoshop xDD This is for the contest that is holding currently, where you put two characters from the TT universe together and make their offspring :0 Well, mix them together and stuff (so it can even be same gender *gasp* ). I was considering AquaxSpeedy kid, but....xDDD Yeah. I may draw it anyway xDD *is shot*

The children I decided on were Mar'i (or Night Star), who is Robin and Starfire's child, and Zero...Kitten and Red X's kid xDD Odd, yes. But, I came up with backstories!! :0 And, I did all this at about midnight last night xD

Mar'i first...She was kind of "accidental" because Robin and Starfire were basically unaware that Starfire could have a child (due to the fact that she's an alien). They really found out about three months after they were married that they were going to have a kid. Mar'i's looks come mainly from her mother, despite her lighter skin and black hair. Her personality, however, is much like her father's in the fact that she's rash, naturally intuitive, and can become obsessive and moody. She also gets angry easily. She has the power of flight, and can shoot starbolts out of her hands and eyes. She does not, however, have her mother's Tameranian strength, so she relies on her starbolts, agility, acrobatics, and martial arts that she learned from her dad. Her outfit is a variation of her mom's, and Robin's (who is, at this point, Nightwing). Her age, in this picture, is 16, and she has a little brother (Jay, who is 9) and a little sister (Mary, who is 4). In my head, her parents are now 36 (Star) and 38 (Robin). I do ages wierd :0

Zero's story is a bit more complicated xD I had fun with it, though. Both Mar'i and Zero were born a few years after the Titans split up, and, as the Titans matured, so did their foes. Kitten had grown up considerably, and though she was still spoiled and rotten, she laid low for awhile, slowly gaining control. She had a fair amount of power in Jump City after getting out of jail, because of her influence over various people (from thugs to respected politicians and members of society). Other people did the dirty work for her. Red X worked for her on a few jobs, only for his own personal gain, and their relationship was never more than a few now-and-again flings or partnerships. But after one business meeting, several hard drinks, and one big mistake, Red X disappeared, not wanting to be tied down. Unknown to him, that big mistake resulted in a child. Kitten didn't know how to take care of anyone but herself, nor did she want to care for anyone else anyway, so the child grew up basically abandoned. He was never really named, but the people Kitten worked with called him "Zero" to be funny, their way of saying he was nothing. By the time Zero turned three or so, Kitten became fed up with his crying and wanting, and decided that he should finally meet his father. Red X had stayed hidden and basically inactive in Jump City and surrounding areas, but her network discovered him easily enough. She sent word to him to meet her so that she could give him the money she owed for some jobs he did awhile back. When Red X arrived at the designated spot, all he found was the blonde-headed Zero, unconcious, with an "X" carved into his cheek--Kitten's way of showing Red X that the child was his. Despite being a criminal, Red X knew that leaving the child would be too evil, even for him, so he took Zero in and raised him to follow in his footsteps. Despite being his son, Zero knows little about Red X--not even his name (though Zero refers to him as X, rather than "dad"). When Red X leaves Jump, basically for good, he leaves Zero to take care of himself and live on his own. X occasionally visits, and pays for Zero's schooling, but Zero usually wants nothing to do with him. With the original Red X gone, his son has taken over his title and lives off of the money he's able to get from stealing. Zero is 17, and has no powers, though he uses martial arts, agility, acrobatics, and various forms of fighting styles--but he usually hopes to avoid confrontations. He also has the zinotheum (however you spell it), to power his suit, like his dad. His hair is blonde, like his mother's, but his eyes are a dark grey--the colour that I've decided to make Red X's eyes xD Aaaand, his ears are pierced. Dunno why. Robin hates it, though xD Kitten's actions and personality are influenced heavily by Soichiro Arima's mom, from Kare Kano, who has destroyed my perseption of young, blonde moms (who are power-hungry xD).

Ummm...Mar'i and Zero meet in highschool and, through Mar'i's curiousity and stubborness, become friends. Zero is quiet and secluded, deemed a "bad boy" just because of the way he looks, and Mar'i is overly-friendly and pushy, basically loved (or feared) by the rest of the school. They're very different, but they get on well despite that. Both develop feelings for eachother, that (of course) are kept hidden, though Zero's attraction to her may seem stronger. However, he discovers her identity of Night Star when one of his jobs is interrupted by her and a few of the other Titans' kids (who have started up their own crime fighting team, kind of), and is bothered by it at first, though she doesn't know he is the new Red X. Zero's feelings for her are still unchanged, though he tries to keep his distance.

The scene I've drawn for the contest occurs when Night Star is on a night patrol alone, and catches sight of Red X running from an undetected robbery. She confronts him, and the two exchange blows for a bit, until Zero accidently gives himself away by shouting her name after having knocked her down rather hard. Despite the voice changer, Mar'i can hear a resemblence in his voice and tackles him to the ground, quickly tearing his mask off to reveal the face of her friend. The scene her is probably Zero apologizing or saying something like "So you've discovered the truth." Yeah...She's about to slap him. Twice. (My sis and I already discussed this xDD)...So the whole story would wind up to be an angst/drama/romance, because neither can change their feelings for eachother, despite being on different sides :0 AND, the whole thing with Zero being Red X's child is a blow for Robin because his daughter's in love with his greatest rival's son. GASP.

So yeah...the quality on this isn't so great My eraser killed the lineart, and the background looks like total crud xD But, that's not the point of the picture. All that matters is Zero and Mar'i who look...decent. Hmm. Michelle (~Gandalfia , lil' sis!) had oodles of fun with this xD We made up all the other Titans' kids too (the couples we like), and all their stats and everything. I really enjoyed drawing them, though. I wanna write something about it now or draw a comic xD
