Β Drawmybeast!Social media is an interesting thing, sometimes we have this stupid idea "if we don't receive powerful attention in our post it means that our art is bad" and we forget it's not about always winning, it's about contrast and discipline, 1 o 1000 likes can't tell you how good is your art, good feedback is like money, should be the result of hard work not the reason, so don't worry many artist feel the same, just don't stop!.

I agree. Sometimes it isn't even about the actual art itself. Sometimes bad artists have a lot of friends and good artists don't. Art is a lot about networking as much as talent these days. Timing is important too. People don't always tend to go back in their feed very far, so if you post something at a bad time of day, no one may ever see it.

Wise words. Social media; the system; all arbitrary constructs as a mean of measuring one's worth. The thing is worth is something we define for ourselves as what WE perceive ourselves is our only reality. I believe a great man called miyamoto mushashi once said "seek nothing outside of yourself, for the means to success lies within. Everything is within."

I use to struggle with that concept. But then I had to remember to draw for myself. I was always trying to impress others, and forgot the jot of simply creating!
