Description
Rotate the image around the reflection line adjusting the center of rotation as needed to find what will become the center of the tile. The amount of rotation is explained below, in this example it is 22.5 degrees. Repeat the crop/duplicate/flip sequence along the reflection line.
The angle of rotation determines how many times the primary reflection (or 'points') appears in the tile. For it to come out seamlessly the number of degrees needs to divide evenly into 360. For example, to get 4 points, 360 / 4 = 90, which is the number of degrees between each point. In this step the rotation needs to be half of the degrees of separation, so rotate 45.
