Not again, you think to yourself, groaning as you walk down the halls of Casper High. You were only a freshman and you already knew who was trouble and who wasn't. As you keep walking, you hear yells further down the wall. You clutch your bag tighter knowing you'll have to try and walk past it. You continue, only to find Danny Fenton getting shoved into a locker by the one and only Dash Baxter. You try to avoid the situation but your conscience says otherwise. You sigh turning back to Dash. "You know that's not really nice." You awkwardly look up to the big jock, trying to look as tough as you could. "Well why mind your own business?" You awkwardly stand there, trying to figure out what to say. "Well um why not just put him down?" Dash looks back at the boy he's holding up, smirking. "Sure thing!" He then let's go completely, letting Danny fall on the ground hard. Dash just laughs and grabs his bag off the floor going to class. You quickly go to Danny, pulling him to his feet. "Are you ok?" He brushes himself off nodding. "Yeah thanks for that, he's a jerk." You sigh in agreement. "True, I don't get why he even does that." You look up in Danny's soft blue eyes. You know for a nerd, he was dreamy. "Yeah I'm not sure either. Anyway I better get to class, see you later-" "(Y/N)" you finish for him. He smiles brightly. "Hm, (Y/N), I like it. See you around!" He walks off down the hall leaving you in the empty hallway. You had a free period since you could sometimes be an over achiever when you wanted to. You walk aimlessly randomly drinking water, going to the bathroom to check how you look, sitting around reading, just about everything. Your thoughts wondered off to Danny. He didn't even know your name until this morning. You sigh sitting down. It's stupid to start liking a guy who barely knows you. The bell suddenly rings for lunch so you start grabbing your bag and getting up as other students came from the classrooms. You patiently wait for the majority of the crowd to go and then move towards your locker. You put a few books in and grab your lunch, shutting the locker. Everyone seemed to have cleared the hallway so you just sigh and take your time to the cafeteria. As you keep walking you hear running behind you, you turn to see Danny. "Hey (Y/N)!" You smile at him. "Hey Danny, what's up?" He grabbed his lunch money from his locker and ran up next to you. "Nothing much but I was wondering maybe you'd wanna sit with Tucker, Sam and I at lunch today?" You thought for a second, sure you wanted to sit with Danny but Sam definitely wouldn't be happy. You looked at him awkwardly. "Well I'd love to, but I don't think Sam would enjoy it very much." He looked at you surprised. "Why would you say that? She'd be ok with it." You messed with your fingers, looking down. "She doesn't really like me. She says I'm one of the reasons girls have stereotypes." He laughed awkwardly. "Oh don't worry about her it's ok, I won't let her say anything." You nod. "Okay well then let's go to lunch." As you enter the cafeteria, you follow Danny towards Sam and Tucker. Sam glares at you and you feel uncomfortable already. Then Danny suddenly falls over. "Hey are you okay?" He looks up, nodding quickly. "Yeah I get weak knees around-" he pauses. "Oh nevermind, don't worry I'm good." Tucker smirks while Sam rolls her eyes. Tucker looks at Danny and back at you. "Oh he just gets weak knees around pretty girls" Your eyes widen and you laugh nervously, blushing. Sam just scoffs. "Or shallow ones." You stop laughing and look at her, offended. "Oh ok." You sit across from the three and pull out your lunch. After talking a bit you found out you really get along with Danny and Tucker. It made you happy but Sam really didn't seem to like you so of course that was bothersome. After lunch you walked down the hall with Danny. "So what'd you think? Maybe you can sit with us everyday!" You smile at him. "Yeah that'd be nice but I still don't think Sam likes me." He sighs. "Eh don't worry about, she'll just have to get used to you." You nod as you stop at your locker, Danny still talking. "She'll definitely have to get used to you cause I was just about to ask if maybe you'd wanna go get some lunch on Saturday?" You look at him excitedly. "Really? I mean that'd be awesome!" He smiles back. "I'll meet you at the Nasty Burger at 12, is that ok with you?" You nod and he smiles even wider about to walk away. You grab his wrist quickly and bring him close. "Just one more thing." He looks at you confused as you quickly kiss his cheek. He blushes and smiles like a dork. "See you then Danny." He nods, walking off smiling. Saturday was gonna be amazing.

You sit in the booth, straightening your shirt waiting for Danny. You were a bit nervous to say at the least. You take a breath, calming yourself down and look at the time. It was already 1:15. 1:15 quickly turned to 1:30. You sighed, disappointed. You finally gave up at 1:45, getting up and walking outside only to hear screaming. Confused you look towards the street people were running from. You look and see a guy with green hair and eyes fighting with a white haired boy. You watched as they suddenly turn invisible and fly into a building. Your eyes widen. Okay definitely not people. You couldn't help but watch as the boy pulls out.. A thermos? All of a sudden he opened the thermos, the green haired ghost being sucked in. The boy quickly closed the thermos smiling to himself. You look around seeing Danny still wasn't there and start to walk home when you hear someone yell. "Hey (Y/N)!" You look back to see the boy floating after you. "How do you know my name?" He looks shocked for a sec and mumbles to himself. "Well um this guy Donny or Danny I think told me to um tell you sorry he couldn't make it an emergency came up." You got suspicious. This guy looked pretty similar but you couldn't put your finger on it, yet a little part of you felt what was going on. "Oh and how did you know what I looked like?" He hesitated looking at you, scratching the back of his head. "Oh uh lucky guess? I mean you answered when I welled (Y/N)." You pretended to think. "Hm, nice try Danny." His eyes widened. "Danny? I'm not Danny!" You smirk and grab his hands, pulling him closer. "Are you sure?" He nods blushing, looking down at his hands in yours. "Too bad I was thinking about kissing Danny. Guess I'll try again next time. Too bad he had that emergency." You let go of his hands and start walking away. The Ghost Boy's eyes widened as he pulled you back. "Okay okay. You got me. Look, you can't tell anyone ok (Y/N)?" You nod, smiling at him. "So.... you were planning on kissing me." You blush and nod. "Well yeah." He blushes back and grabs your hands again, frowning. "Well I'm sure you saw the emergency I had to handle. I'm sorry (Y/N)." You look into his eyes and step closer. "Well you're here now so it's ok." He smiles and pulls you into a hug. "Now how about that lunch?" You smirked into his chest. "Of course, but one more thing." He pulls back and leans in, hesitating before kissing you softly. You pull back after a few seconds and grab his hand, pulling him to Nasty Burger. "Come on you owe me lunch." You tease, smiling like an idiot. He smiles back before changing back into the Danny Fenton you knew and loved. Best day ever.
