The background is going to be left blank for now. Can't really fathom a good color choice at the moment.

An image that has long since been sitting around in my folders for about a year. Oddly enough, the final image isn't even what the first sketch was in the beginning and greatly deviates from what I had planned! Originally, it was battle battered Volnutt pointing the end of his buster at the viewer with Roll fearfully looking on. Somehow or other as I was redoing the image over and over to fix up a few mistakes, trying different expressions, and whatnot it turned into...what you see here. And Roll completely turned into Tron somewhere down the line xD;

Weird to say the least, though hopefully I'll post up the process of the original sketches to see the oddity of it all come together.

Also attempted something different in experimenting with my coloring style. I used mainly shades of purple for the shadows as a way to bring more of a 'pop', rather than shade with a darker shade of a particular color I work on. Paid off mainly with the hair (blue pieces not so much), though it is something I still need to further experiment and practice with.
