Here’s a general character concept for Digimon Zone that I came up with recently, made using this character creator: www.deviantart.com/hapuriainen…

As it was implied when I made Apusmon’s Ultimate Level RoseAngewomon, I planned to give her a Zone Tamer partner eventually. I wanted the Zoner to be a girl with little to no experience with Digimon. At first I thought about a girl from a Zone that has yet to uncover its Digital World, or a girl that has somehow been time-displaced from an era before digital technology; but I couldn’t think of a way for that to work without introducing a really big threat to the Zoners. Also, I wanted to keep any relationships strictly between ProtoStardramon and Apusmon; their respective Zoners would be friends and nothing more.

That’s when I figured this concept out. First of all, this is not an accurate depiction of my character concept; save for the hair color & style, eye color, and general clothing designs (left-to-right; sleep/hospital wear, normal clothes, formal wear), my intended character is much younger, roughly around the same age as Keely, Kristi, and other young Zoners.

As for her background, this girl is an orphaned survivor of a Zone that was destroyed by an evil Digimon, and since then she has had a crippling fear of Digimon. Because of that phobia, she has lived at the Zone Capital’s hospital for her whole life, tended to only by human nurses. Until she can overcome her Digimon phobia, the hospital is unable to discharge her; so she spends most of her days tending to the potted plants that she keeps in her room.

Eventually with the help of others, she’ll overcome her Digimon phobia and end up becoming Apusmon’s partner. When I have a working idea of how that happens along with specific details about her like her name, I’ll post those later.
