Yay! I did it! I made a reference for Aira!

M'kay, so this is Aira. She's an OC of mine that I've now had for, what? two.... three years. Maybe even four. She's gone through a /lot/ of changes since I first made her. Bangs are one example.

For those of you who don't understand which color goes where, the left are from clothing colors for her usual outfit, (not including necklace) and go from top to bottom. Top middle ones are natural colors, eye, skin and hair color.

Those at the bottom are wing colors, and in the center are color for the necklace. The light gray you see in her hair is to outline how the braid she usually wears,unless it's a special occasion or she's gonna go to sleep, goes.

Even though there's not much of a difference, the left wing is what it looks like from the inside, and right from the outside. They look similar, except the inside stretches to the shoulder, while the outside simply trails off.

Name: Aira (last name unknown)
Nicknames: Her enemies sometimes call her 'baby face' , but she doesn't have any. Her name is already short as it is.
Age: Thirteen years old
Species: Human/???? kinda like the human version of a wolfdog. (Nothing to do with monkey crossing)
Likes: sugar and sweets, flying, running, dancing, laughing, making others laugh, pulling pranks on others, racing, telling jokes, warm sunny days, day dreaming, sleeping
Dislikes: staying still, the cold (she can't stand it and gets very irritated), being called stupid and/or useless, being called 'baby face' , having her candy stash stolen or confiscated, party poopers, being serious when not necessary, being too girly, valley forge girls, being called anorexic
Fears: fire (Aira is pyrophobic)
Personality: Aira is a very happy girl, and very random. Not a day passes when she doesn't do something strange. She's the type of girl to suddenly burst out laughing and tell you that she suddenly remember a joke because she really /did/ remember a joke.
She finds it hard to sit still, and prefers to constantly move, something that annoys her friends when on a long car ride or sugar rush.
Aira likes to eat spicy and sugared food, but she doesn't have much of a stomach so she will usually leave leftovers. Otherwise will make her nauseous.
Abilites: Airokinetic, able to pull wings out of her back and make them disappear (folding them, for the lack of a better word), also a special ability to take pain and turn it into energy, but it's very hard (not to mention dangerous) and drains her energy in a matter of seconds.
History: The general idea is that she can't remember anything from eight-nine years younger. She's been a bit of a nomad all her life, traveling from family to family for one reason or another. Right now, she's been able to settle down, and in the process discovered her abilities. (details not set)
Other: She's probably my only character who deliberatly shows signs of religion because she visits a small church in the city she lives in.
Fun facts:
- Aira likes to dance and sing with music, but she's a better dancer and she's got a regular singing voice. That means that if she probably tried to make a career as a singer, she'd not be able to make the auditions.
- That necklace has been with her since she can remember. It means a lot to her because it could be a link to her family.
- She sometimes has brief flashbacks of what happened when she was younger, but they're short so she can't make 'em out that much.
- Aira actually fell in a river when she was really small, and it was the middle of winter (not to mention the clothing wasn't that thick) so that's where the whole 'cold' irritation started.
- Aira first found out that she was airokinetic, but wasn't able to pull out her wings until later, since it was kinda like finally puberty for her. So for the meanwhile she could only hover for some seconds.
- She likes wearing her hair in a messy braid.
- As mentioned above, Aira visits a little christian church that helped her through the whole wing ordeal.
- Aira used to have only one bang, but the hairstyle was a bit complicated, so that version kept evolving into what you see now (there's a version in another comic I have)
- Her hair used to be very light, almost redhead too.
- Aira is very flexible, and can easily twist and turn in the air with good balance.
- Aira easily falls victim to sugar rushes.
- She's not an actual angel, nor a half bird morph or something like that.
- Her necklace used to have a little symbol on it, but I removed it 'cause it didn't have much of a use.
- Aira is only one out of a handful of TT characters here in deviantart that have wind powers. I didn't realize it until after I'd made her.
- Aira's wings are small, narrow and pointed like a falcon's, making her better at speed flying rather than long distance. (Even though I messed up the wing figure)
- She has a tendency to leave some feathers behind every once in a while.
