Was trying to make a reference for Iodized Salt's sister (I'm just gonna call him Io for short now)
I'm not terribly satisfied with it. It's supposed to be a mix of a marble tabby and a tortoiseshell. I might just change it to be a golden marble tabby or something
Penny's got some mental issues.

Well, time to REVEAL some of their story
Scientists were trying to create some solution to transform normal cells into something like stem cells for things like growing back limbs and organs. They started off with experimenting on rats and mice and such. After much trial and error, they were ready to step up the level. They started experimenting on cats. The first subjects didn't live, but Io and Penny were the first to survive. They were injected with the solution. The next step was limbs and such. They cut off their ears. After a while, they grew back. Then some paws. Those came back too. But Io and Penny were tired of being their lab rats (cats) and having limbs cut off. They tried on many occasions to escape, but failed. What the scientists didn't realize was that the solution also gave them some sort of higher intelligence. Io thought that if his body could regrow limbs on its own, was there a way to command these new cells to instead entirely re-shape themselves? While the lab was empty at night, Io tried to morph himself. He failed most of the time, but after a while his paws began to transform. They didn't change into any recognizable shape, just a blob, but it was progress. Night after night he transformed back and forth from cat to something else.
Finally, years later, Io was ready to escape. He was able to almost flawlessly transform into human. Of course, it took a lot of energy, putting his cells under that much stress, so he had been storing up food. Penny had been practicing, but she didn't like transforming. It didn't feel right. But Io managed to convince her that that was the only way out of the lab. Io had transformed, and it was Penny's turn. She began to transform, but then something went wrong. She screamed out in pain, falling to the floor as a blob, the transformation not complete. Some thing about morphing had affected her brain cells. Io managed to get Penny back to cat state, but she never transformed again and she was mentally unstable. The night of escape had been delayed. Later they did escape. To be continued...
