Description
Starting anew is hard. Making a new project or even finishing one is hard. Especially when you hold yourself up to an expectation you didn't before. When you don't stop saying it's bad, or don't let yourself start again; replaying is hard. Work is hard, crying is hard, life even is hard. So why do we keep going? Well, the meaning of life of course. The meaning is simple: survive.
No matter what, survive. We, as life, cling onto what we can to anchor ourselves back to the top when we've fallen. To stand tall when others push us down. We're reminded of this every day; through the crooked school system always comes out a well-learnt child, whether the school really taught them or not. Through the concrete, we've layed down always comes grass, trees, flowers maybe, just life.
But what about death? Well, when death comes, don't treat them like nothing. They're a big player in the game of life, it seems like they're winning, but really they're cheating. They oppose life, but they help when they can. A big loss can be that thing that helps, that gets someone to realise what's wrong. Or to make them worse, only that little bit, to make them better. It's bittersweet.
It always is.
it stings like salt in a wound and crushes you to nothingness. But, you re-build yourself. You make yourself better, the best you can be, and you do it on your own. Well, maybe you have that crutch to help you heal or the cast, but it's only that.
It's you. The best you. The you everyone loves. The you; you love.
And that's life. And that's death. it's nothing and everything. We strive with it. We do our best, and our best is enough. No matter what the others say.
We survive.
