The males of the Farley family are due to their immortal and "as merfolk underwater" nature shirtless and attractive. Also I was lazy Cody and his family members all stopped aging and went immortal on the day Cody Farley turned 13, therefore creating a sort of rift with a merworld relative. They are resistant to heat and cold. Cody is self-determined and has developed speed skills, most of them coming from his younger brother Cory. Cory is a born athlete, while the family has no drop of Kenyan blood (they are Akan Ghanaian) he sorta feels like one of his ancestors was from there. Basically the Lynn Loud (Jr.) of the family. AJ is the younger brother, who seems to have his own viewpoint. Chelsea is the older sister, inspired by Candace from Phineas and Ferb. Shania is the mom, inspired by AJ's mom from The Fairly OddParents. Wayne Farley is the dad and has been investigating connections his family has to the merworld and how other Floridians possibly have some of that. He first became a merman when he saw what happened to Cody. Kahoot is a floatian merman, born from an anthropomorphic root beer float toy. His body smells like root beer and his hair like vanilla ice cream. The irony is that Cody when he consumes some of that gets the sugar rush. The two understand together even in hard situations. Bagheera is an anthropomorphic, confused mercat, basically Garfield, Nermal and Grumpy Cat rolled in one. The Farleys got him when a literal rain of cats and dogs happened, whereas some like Bagheera got swept to the sea and was caught by the Farleys fishing. Bagheera and Kahoot are like Darwin from Gumball: trying to understand the confused world they live in. Keto is Cody's counterpart from the undersea kingdom of Ketogene located east of Florida, a small kingdom led by King Ato (insoired by AJ's dad) and is or was mostly a warrior. He discovered Cody's bedroom when Cody became immortal. Since then, the two became close friends.

Centaur Merbear Cosy is from another dimension. Thought it was a good idea to add some extras. Skerreks is a rare Floridian animal. The other Wayne is a reference to my Floridian art friend.
