I can't believe I have not posted anything new for nearly two years now...
anyways...

Anyone remember r/Place? yeah? Great!
Because that is what I took some inspiration from for this practice sheet, also a certain other collage of pixels, which is quite awesome by the way.
So here are the details: I only used the original colours and shades that appeared in Place and the size of the field, with those as my only restrictions, I allowed my creativity to shine, taking inspiration from various other works sometimes, and trying to make things actually look like what I wanted. It is not too difficult to do when you adjust to the restrictions but I am finding that it is helping me make more, when I don't have to worry about tones, shades, colour sets, or anything like that, it takes me too the KISS principle, keep it simple stupid, focus on shapes and forms, keep it basic, then expand from there.
Now, I know there is not a lot there (yet) but this is a WIP, I simply wanted to share this idea.

So right now I challenge anyone viewing this, because I am assuming you want to get better with pixel art, take on this challenge!
just make things look right within the restrictions and progress from there, I know it is counter intuitive to put restrictions on creativity, but if you have a brain similar to mine, it is hard to start when something is so broad, when it is so open, there are too many questions and no answers. So I give you 16 colours, what can you do with them?

Light Green: 94e044
Blue: 0000ea
Light Blue: 0083c7
Cyan: 00d3dd
Purple: 820080
Light Purple: cf6ee4
Pink: ffa7d1

White: ffffff

Saving them to a palette really helps.
