Last year, I was experimenting with scanning 3-dimensional objects on a flatbed scanner. This is what you do when you work for a Magazine during your non-peak times. Anyhow, I really liked the effect of the shadows as the scanning light passed along the object. After a little colour correction and tweaking, the result is as you see here. These pics were eventually used on one of my CD's as Cover art (Yes, I make music too).Related content

Scanners are fun!
I was toying with the idea of scanning 3D objects myself ... but then I realized I'd have to clean my platten after each scan ... ugh ... too much work!
