Ignatz was a doodle I did several years ago while I was drunk at my buddy and grafitti artist Kaneda Jones' place. It pretty much looked like something that a 4 four year old would draw with the intention of drawing his mother. I didn't really think anything of it at the time, but when I came to the next morning, I looked at it again, it was hilarious.

The next few months, mysterious Ignatzes began appearing all over the city, on buildings, sidewalks and skateboard pits. There was even a three story Ignatz on the supporting wall of a highway overpass. They city would paint over them, of course, but eventually, Ignatz would prevail and his likeness would soon grace the city's presence again.

While Ignatz sightings seem to have subsided recently, I thought I should upload this wallpaper to mark the moment in time when a lowly doodle became a momentary curiosity, even for its creator. This is a pixelized incarnation of Ignatz, acknowledging the crew responsible for Ignatz's prolific reincarnations.
