(Sonic vs Undertale)Connections : They both gain control over their timelines (Solaris destroying the past, the present and the future and Asriel controling the entire timeline of his world) when they have achieve the ultimate power through out objects (The Chaos Emeralds and The Six Human Souls), there are also split into 2 pieces that bind them (Iblis who is the power part of solaris and Mephiles who is the mind of solaris and Asriel his memories and his Soul during his boss battle). They also reverb back to their original state after their were defeated (The Flame of Hope and Asriel Child form) and also have 2 battles with 2 phases where the last one have them adopt angelic form.
