Raven from the Teen Titans. Convention sketch done for Karen at Megacon '09. I'm going to try and start doing some marker sketches like all the "cool kids" are doing these days. This is one of my first attempts.Related content

I really like this sketch. it's simple and down to earth yet, gets the point across. Don't mess with this girl, it will hurt! at the same time though, there is a soft and gentle side to her nature as though she won't go beyond what needs to be done to resolve the situation. comes through her eyes and in her stance. poetic and brilliantly portrayed!! well done, man!

I always did like Raven. It's nice to see her drawn in her original style. though I must admit that her cartoon style is more appropriate to someone who has to go into combat with the bad guys.
