I'm a little late. Just a little bit.
I'll tell you a secret, this work was supposed to be released in early January, and the idea did appear two years ago. Art itself refers to one work of illustrator Mario Zukka, in which he "packed" the events of 2013. A kind of homage.
Its creation was much more complicated than I could imagine. Several times I gave up all the attempts with the asureness that nothing will turn out. But the idea was so firmly entrenched in my mind that I was returning to it again and again. When trying to fit as many characters as possible on one canvas, I noticed that it increases with incredible speed. At some time, I realized that I need to stop, otherwise I will not finish this work until the end of next year. I had to refuse from several ideas, on the other hand now you can finally evaluate the fruits of my labor.
In my opinion, the most significant cultural events of 2017 are gathered here. I tried to ignore the political and other negative aspects, but I did not manage to cope without them. Still, our life is too diverse. You can try to find all references, there are about 120 of them. You can try to find the one, which caught you most.
