Another Locomotive in Travel Town, No. 4 is a 2-8-2 Mikado Type Steam Locomotive. It was Built by ALCO in 1920 for the Hetch Hetchy Railroad. It was used for Hauling Freight Trains. In 1924, No.4 was Sold to the Newaukum Valley Railroad and was re-numbered 1000. In 1944, No. 1000 was sold to the Santa Maria Valley Railroad which served oil refineries and hauling produce to the Southern Pacific's Mainline at Guadalupe, CA. 1954, 1000 got Retired it's currently as a static display at the Travel Town Museum (Griffth Park) in Los Angeles CA
