Description
....I was bored, yes.A doodle I sort of finished at a barbecue last week, and decided I liked it enough to take on with my colored pencils.
The helmet was definitely the hardest part to get right. It's not hard to tell why, Delta's helmet is kinda tough even when not dragonized... (I'd assume they'd cut the real horns off to make room for the helmet, lol.)
The wings are supposed to be artificial (the wing membranes are a type of odd fabric, if you noticed), but they turned out looking more natural than I intended. Oh well, no biggie.
Enjoy. Hope you're not TOO weirded out. xD;
I gotta get to ref sheets now.
Delta (c) 2k games.

that is just bitchin.
while it wouldn't make much sense to see one in bioshock it would be awesome to go up against one anyway. XD fighting that thing would be SO much fun. nice work.

I'm honestly not one for anthropomorphized versions of human (I use the term loosely in this case) characters, but you've done a darn good job of converting Delta to dragon form. All the details transferred from his original suit with surprising accuracy, and I am really digging the clinging folds of the suit. I also enjoy the worn canvas wings - though considering Rapture is comprised mainly of tunnels, and the practically crushing heaviness of the creature and suit - I can't imagine he gets any lift at all.
If I were to suggest anything to you, it would be this - a picture of this kind would really benefit from a heavier atmosphere. The lighting here is very open and leaves the tones a little washed out and neutral, while the world of Bioshock is a dense and dark place. The city itself is almost alive, bursting with environment and gritty, but intense colour. Keeping it in mind for future work will likely improve the impact of your art.

Thanks very much for the critique. c: Though it'd probably sound more like an excuse if I said that it actually looks darker in real life. xD

If that's the case, you could probably darken it up a bit with a digital program. I'm afraid that's where my useful advice ends, though - my experience with such programs is extremely limited.

Sometimes I find it a little odd when characters are dragon-ized, but this turned out spectacular. The details are so well done, and I love your coloring. He really looks kick ass. XD
