Once I submitted this piece to a competition with a longer title "Giving a Name". English is not my first language and I wasn't sure if it sounded too cheesy, so for posting here I changed it to shorter title. The priestess is giving the creature a name, which also fixes the specific fate for its future.

You guys are both right. I'm imagining this is bird=dragon. I tend to use bird motifs a lot, and for this one it felt appropriate to have reptile feature also.
