Description
A comic strip I did because of the ongoing discussion about the refugees that come to europe.
There even where some voices who demanded to close the border and don't let them come in.
It reminded me of 1942 when the government of switzerland decided to close the border for the refugees who fleeing from the Nazis.
Fifty years later the government apologized for that.
For what will the future generation have to excuse for?

1942 - closing the swiss border
"The boat is full" (we cannot hold any more people)

1995 - apology of the swiss government
"The Federal Council is now fully aware of the tragedy,... and he can only expressed his deep regret that by the policy of our country in those days people have died."

2015 - the demand to close the border
"close the border!"
