I've been looking around for a Breeding Chart for myself but couldn't pick one out. Here is my Free to Use Breeding Chart

I might have misunderstood the meaning of this. When I saw that someone did this, I thought they were rating the ship (in points).

Yeah that's not quite how it works. However it's possible that someone had done it that way. xP
Normally you pick characters (either yours or from a show, movies ect.) and you line them up in the left side and top rows. Then you "Breed" them, so you make what you think their child would look like.
So if the Left side was letters and the top numbers you would breed them in the boxs such as "A1, A2, A3.....Β C1..... C5.." And match the 'parents' up. Once finished people normally sell the 'children'.

The first three in the list are my characters, the other two are from MLP:FiM. Then the rest are the breeding results which I sell.

That's up to you. It's just a breeding chart. If you feel like using cannon characters / OC's only then go nuts.
