I said that I really wanted to play around with shading a bit more so here's my experimentI used Gimp to get the burn effects (since I don't have Photoshop) and after playing around for a couple minutes I found that images look ten times better with shadow effects :3
With was just a quick put together and surprising I didn't think the fur on his checks would turn out that great but I think they turned out just fine
