(I've been having a hard last couple of days.)

Crystal has had a hard time all throughout her life, but it was extra hard when she was nine and no one understood why she seemed so different.
Due to her mental disorder she felt very poorly of herself. One of the things she always wanted as much as possible, was her mothers approval. Astrid tried to make sure she understood that she loved her, but it never really got to crystal when she needed it. Astrid had a hard enough time, and didn't know what to do to help her daughter.
Crystal would try hard to get her mothers approval, find and savor those happy moments. She tried to make those moments happen, and sometimes wanted to do even something small like hold her mom's hand...., but of course that couldn't happen.
