Description
Here is my WIP for "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" Link wig, hat and ears.You can see in the second picture that we edited the bottom locks of hair a little bit, so that they were more pointed.
At this moment, the tunic, chain mail, Hylian shield, and Master Sword are also in the making.

It was originally a very long wig that I got off of ebay, and then my friend cut and styled it for me.

About the wig - Yes, this was actually the second wig I ordered. The first one I ordered looked right in the picture, but then when I got in in the mail it was like...orange. So, I bought another one (using a seller that actually had color swatches for their wigs) and bought it based off of that. :3

I also can't wait to finish this costume either, I should post some finished costume pics in the next few weeks (considering Tekkoshocon is in about a month XD)

I got both the wig and ears off of ebay. The original wig was actually really long, but it was like the perfect color, which is why I bought it at such a length and had my friend cut it.
The ears were just unpainted latex ears that I found on ebay too, they were relatively cheap, and she painted those for me as well, using acrylic paint.

I absolutely adore your hat; and the info said you made it yourself. Is there any way that I could get instructions for the Hat,for a TP Link cosplay I need for a Con in April? I'd greatly appreciate it!

While, I am still in the process of making this hat, I am far enough a long on it where I couldn't really make a tutorial for it.
I could just draw a picture of the basic shapes you need to do to cut it out, with written instruction? It should be fairly easy to make if you already have some experience in sewing.
BTW, what convention are you planning on going to in April?

I should have the whole outfit finished within the next month or so. It is taking awhile due to all the the little details and accessories/props that Link has. And I am making absolutely everything myself.

Yeah, it always comes as a surprise when you start collecting pictures to use as reference material for making cosplay, because it is then when you start noticing all the little details that you hadn't before, and if you're anything like me, you try to make them as detailed and accurate as physically possible, teehee!
And I agree with that, when you have made something yourself, it adds a special meaning to it, and only you truly know how much pain and tears that you went through to make it. XD
I have been learning a lot about how to make props as of late, I don't have much experience in prop making, but it seems to be going well so far.
I think it's exciting that you are doing a true-form Midna cosplay, I will have to check it out!!
