On my way back from my winter hike, I was comming down this hill at about 2mph, on account of the snow/ice.. I decided to snap a few pictures on the way..
I breathed on the lens to give it sort of a blurred, dreamy kinda look, hope you enjoy it
thank you for viewing!

The blurry is a little too distracting on top for me, but I really like what it does to the bottom of the picture. That's also clever, breathing on the lens to get the effect that you wanted. Nicely done.

Always a critic sam.. the point of it was to have only the bottom 1/3 of the photo not so blurry.
thanks though, i thought the color made it look colder and, because it was like -20, i think that sorta makes sense...lol

it looks unbalanced like that. like, distractingly so, and don't call me a critic just because i know more about photography than you.

You know more about strict rules in photography, i just know how to go out and shoot the shot that i see in my mind, the way i want it to turn out. I actually have three other versions of this exact shot, i picked this one because, to me, it has the correct balance of blurry to not blurry, i felt that it draws you into the areas that aren't blurry going down the road.

nope, they are actually still in there, i did make the photo black and white before adding the blue, that removed the yellow from the signs..
I think if you look hard enough you can probably find them!
