Water and sky melted together is a good conceptual subject...

this is soft, sweet, and serene...
i love the solid trunk
with the branches falling downwards
from the heavens...
and way to control the light,
with the background fading into light

i adore the green colour but the lack of distance is superb... "edge of the world" is jsut so greatly emphasized by this one part..
did you use some blurring overlays on the tree, model and ground? because it looks awkward in comparison to the sharp branches :\

The way the water fades into the mist so that there's really no end helps achieve your title (edge of the world). The model looks like she's holding on, afraid of falling off. It's a beautiful, natural shot- especially with the colors and soft light.

this shot has lots of symbolizm. maybe she should drop her insecurities (let go of the tree) and wonder closer to the edge to live life free from anything holding you down or back. great atmosphere you've captured.

as you said in your journal, this really was a subtle horizon(or none-existing horizon). the colours are perhaps a bit to... ah, i don't know, its bether than red, but still. perhaps b/w or a dimmed colour?

I like how well simplistic scenes can be executed. The silhouettes stand out nicely, and the green tint gives the entire image an almost eerie feel.
