Description

As Vandra snuck outside of the red mage tower a little too early while the west of The Horde Imperial patrol of House Dragonbane was sleeping. The wizard complained all night, hearing all the snoring from the soldiers while making his new spells.
“If the human soldiers discover I have left my watch post, they will kill me… Or worse their lord will take action…”
Vandra knew she needed to find herbs for potions to help the injury men fighting off the dark elves attacking at night.
But she also knew that she is assigned to watch at night, she will be useful due to her elven sleep patterns. She is no drow, and no wood elf. And wood elves are day creatures.
But disobeying orders and leaving guard posts, whether for worse or better is considered disrespectful to her officer.
They have zero tolerance for it, and unlike Vandra they are unschooled soldiers who knows how to fire a musket and don't know anything about alchemy like this elf woman. Humans are such ungrateful round eared creatures!
Last man who left the post was a young adult human, he was left while the officer continued marching.
Poor lad…
She is just gonna collect it quickly and go back to the post.
Unlike those humans, elves sleep a lot less…
“I mean… Eight hours of sleep seems so crazy! At least the army sleeps less, how can humans sleep so much!?” She asked herself in the head.

Two hours seemed more than enough if you ask any horned elf back at Vandra’s homeland!

I think I screwed this drawing a little bit up, I am not the best at drawing landscapes. Maybe someone disagree, I dunno. xD
Keep going, always room for improvement I guess.
