They also have some good stuff to use on the original series, too. Like making some Missions where you play as Sparda himself to show what his life was like. Or to show an improvement on Nero's skills after he learns that he is actually Dante's nephew. Etc

So many things they could have done that they left behind to do this. Some one I talked to once suggested that this is filler until Next-Gen and then they go back to the original. Just a theory, but I like it if this thing could just be ignored out right.

And I just remembered that, for an April Fool's prank, I made a journal with fake videogames news and I did one on DMC, saying this:
"Devil May Cry: CAPCOM seems to be tired of fans response to DmC, and decided to make a new Devil May Cry that is actually part of the series. It is meant to show part of the story of Sparda himself, since he have never made an appareance as himself. Just like in DMC4, each mission will have a specific character to play as, but, after beating the game on any difficulty, you can replay the missions of that difficulty as ANY character you wish! It also seems that playable characters include Dante (obviously), Sparda and Vergil (Which might mean this is indeed previous to DMC3 or even DMC1) and will feature 25 missions instead the usual 20. Also, it's meant to have a customizable style for each character that can be bought like any upgrade, and Vergil will have 2 different styles now. I'd say this sounds like a real DMC now (... for now)"

... and some people fell for it becouse they are desperatedly wishing for DmC to be just a bad joke ...

Me too. My idea doesn't make that much sense, but I think it's better for a DMC game that NT's version
And, I think so! It was actually a good one (If it's the one I'm thinking about ) I think there were some for PacMan and for Tetris, too, right?

Only saw the legend of Zelda. I found it like two years later on youtube and thought it was real till I started researching it.

And yes your idea was better. Almost anything is better than that crap. Keyword, "almost". They can still screw up worse.

Those are funny. I don't think those are IGN, but they are funny.

And yes, I can't wait to see how low they can go next. It's almost a sport at this point in time.
