The HTB-2 Battle tank was the pivotal unit in breaking the deadlock of the Third World War.Crew: 3: Driver. Gunner. Commander.

Armament: "G6" 155mm Howitzer. 28x "Penbolt" 40mm Anti Tank missiles. 2x 12.7mm "Kruger" Machine guns
Weight: 82 Tons
Drive: 18 Electric Wheel Hub motors powered by a 10 Cylinder 1200bHp Diesel engine. 28 km/h top road speed.
Other: ECM Radar Guidance scrambler. "Dropper" 50mm Anti-Missile Point-Defence rockets.
Extra: Front and rear roller extensions for trench crossing.
The Hyena Tank was the direct response to the new and deadly "Penbolt" missiles, very light weight and cheap, radar guided and any infantry man could carry 5 or more of them, but capable of punching through the frontal armour of even the heaviest of tanks, these new weapons virtually eliminated heavy tanks from the battle field in World War Three. These weapons caused a return of the horrible trench warfare for the First Great War of almost a century before.
The Hyena tank managed to break this stalemate by actively defending itself from the Penbolts by both jamming any radar locks on it and through blowing away anything else that might get close.
The heavy main gun was very rarely used, it had to be loaded manually from the outside of the vehicle, it's primary purpose was that of a siege weapon, getting up close to a fortification and blowing it out at point blank range.
The primary weapon is the bank of Penbolts modified to use laser guidance instead of radar, allowing the tank to engage with it's defences fully active.
The HTB-2 was developed and produced in South Africa, and helped to bring the nation into Military Super Power status by the time of the 4th War 5 years later.

This is both a bit of national pride for myself and an interesting potential political development for our current future. Mainly this piece is more of a historical background to the rest of my stuff, just to explain some of the origins of certain technologies.
This is also my 1st creation to actually follow proper scales, I measured everything out to the millimeter.
