Little Book 15 contemplation below (SPOILERS):

Imma be real chief, I didn't really like this one. I believe that I'll need more time to really think about it, but as of now, not really impressed with how the arc ended. I know Tui isn't really known for fantastic endings, but man I felt kinda ripped off at the end. We spent five books / five years building up to it and it just abruptly ends with a draft of an epilogue that doesn't really explain much. Queen Wasp got shoved aside REAL hard and I still don't know what the point of keeping her alive was. Also, this is totally because of my own preference, but I didn't really like the Cottonmouth twist either? I liked the idea of a freaky sentient plant being the villain instead of a man who lives in a hole. I did like Lizard/Freedom though, that was rough. I don't know, it just feels like it was a total letdown with everything that the arc built up. It's even worse when you take into account that this might be the last arc for Wings of Fire. (Excluding Legends and Winglets of course but still.) Keep in mind that this is my own (very simplified) opinion, I never said that I have good taste. Thanks for coming to my mini Ted Talk
