Okay. uh... probabbly best to full-view this...(sorry)...So this is a character from Steve Uy's [link] new comic book called Jova's Harvest.
Check out his comics! The first issue should be in comic racks now..! His drawing style rocks!
So, uh, Steve is actually gonna include this pin-up in the third issue of Jova's Harvest.. So, please keep an eye on the comic book shelves for me.

It's good, I like the way the blue spiral intertwines with the wooden railings - it looks like one of those incredibly complicated but simple looking patterns that if you were to zoom out and see the whole thing would look logically impossible Computers really don't like the colour yellow.. it's either absent altogether or brighter than a lollypop lady's jacket! But this looks good anyway

there are acrylics?? incredible, i thought there were some water colours with wax colours, or pherphaps colours pencils, i can hardly manage with the acrylics, i found quite hard to mix and to blur colours with them, (they used to get dry too early for me ) anyway you acrylics looks incredibily great !!!

oh!! what a pity!! I will try to get the film, there will be probably a dvd, but we will have to wait...
anyway, I read somewhere that it was going to be showed in Sundance Film Festival, so if its win any award...( and I am sure that it will win..) The film will have better promotions so I could be showed in more places...
you really think that Europe is cool? well... to be honest I prefer Europe to EEUU, but I think that in EEUU there are more chances to work in things you like... Its a younger country and I supposed that this will have good and mad points...

Wow! Thank you.. !
You can start an arcylic painting like you would approach a watercolor, btw. Use washes and subtle color and then dry-brush over it with thicker layers. That is kinda how I work.. I use a lot of water and dry brush to get texture... but, acryclics are better than watercolor, you don't have to save your whites and they are plastic when they dry. Also, one can use an acryclic slow-dry/retarder to extend the drying time of the arcylics. I actually pulled my retarder out of storage for this.. Some brands of retarder can make the paints a bit gluey though, and I normally don't touch the stuff.. Anyhoo... I'm had some luck putting my paints in the freezer to keep them moist... All the best! -r

yeah... i think you are right saying that acrylics are better because you donΒ΄t have to save whites... i think i should try to manage with them... I always have done watercolours, and i have try acrylics, and actually i prefer these to the oils, probably because i canΒ΄t stand the oilΒ΄s smeel....
i didnΒ΄t know that you can put your acrylic paintings in the freezer, to keep them moist.... itΒ΄s a good trick!! your freezer probably looks really funny!!
thank very much for your advices!!

Oh@!@!!! Best trick ever... fold up a wet paper towel (to look like a ruler), and put the paint on the paper towel..... use it as your pallete on your pallette.... they will stay moist@!!!1

Thanks sweetie..! ! !
It took me all night to scan and tile the image on my slow pc... only to go to work at 9 am, tired and a little dissatisfied because the colors are all wrong.... like really wrong. I don't get it..
But you have brightened up my morning! Thank you!
