Your P.O.V
I woke up today hoping to have a wonderful day. I had prepared myself to head down to the Mermaid Heel Guild. I than put on my original outfitwww.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=16… . Soon as I walked outside it looked like everything had plain up died. The trees were lifeless. The air smelt like....death. I don't know how, but it did.
"Hello?" I shouted
There was no answer. I had to get down to the guild. They will know what to do. Maybe we can face this together.
"Ma'am? Ma'am what are you doing outside of your house?" I heard a old man say
I turned to the old man hiding in a barrel. Why was he in a barrel? What's going on?
"What has happen?" I asked the old man
"It's Zeref. He is in town."
Zeref. That name striked my heart. My cousin was killed off by the Zeref with his rage through their town. He is a monster and nothing else. Wait. I got to check if my parents are okay. I ran to my parents' house hoping that they are okay. The house looked completely empty.
"Mom?Dad?" I yelled
I looked all over the house and was no where to be found. Could they be hiding? I don't want to think of them being dead. No. They can't be dead. They are smart enough to get away from something that terrible. My eyes began to water. I tried to hold them in. Than I saw a broken picture on the ground of us. I was so young. I than saw a hand on the ground. It had pink nail polish on them.
"Mom!" I ran to the body
It was my mom.
"Mom. Don't worry it's going to be okay." I said holding her hand tightly
"Y/N I hate to tell you this, but I don't think that I am going to make it."
I than started to cry even more.
"No you can't. You can't leave me!"
"I'm sorry baby. Your dad is already out for the count. Just promise me this. That you will keep strong for me."
Her eyes than closed shut.
Mom. Dad. No. Why did this had to happen to you guys? Please don't go. I began to bawl and scream about the lost of my parents.
"Oh no it's Zeref. Everyone one!" I heard someone say outside
My heart than turned black. Zeref. He was the cause of this. He was the one who had killed my parents. He. Will. PAY!! I than ran outside. I waited for him to appear. There he was. All I could sense was evil from this guy. He than stopped in his tracks when he saw me. We just stood there. We were just staring each other down.
"Zeref. You heartless fool. You have no idea my hatred towards you. You have killed my cousin. You have killed my parents. Now it is you that will die!!" I ran closer to him ready to kill him.
"No. Stay back" he said
I than was hit with his Dark Arts Magic. He is quick. But I can mimic this.
"So you want to play that game huh?"
I tried to mimic his magic, but nothing seemed to work. What the hell? This never failed me. Was he throwing off my magic some how? He began to walk up.
"Please. I don't mean to hurt you." he said
I knew he was lying.
"Don't you lie to me you monster!!!!! You have caused many towns so much pain. How do you expect me to believe you when you have caused so much pain!!"
His eyes than turned red. I felt a scary sensation. I felt like I couldn't move. My heart was beating rapidly. What kind of sick magic is this? I closed my eyes and began to run towards him again like a fool. He than grabbed my arm. My eyes went opened. Everything was getting dark. Is this how this was going to end? At the last moment, I took a look at Zeref's face one last time as he mouth the words I'm Sorry. I than saw him get closer to me with his lips puckered, but that was the last thing I saw.
