it's a great show. it's made in Britain. I've been watching it now for....a little over...eh...5/6 years? I started watching it when Christopher Ecceleston was the Doctor, then he left and David Tennant took over and was the Doctor for several years, and now Matt Smith plays The Doctor. In total, since the series has been running since 1963, there have been 11 men to play the Doctor and is the youngest one yet. But it is my FIRM opinion that is the best doctor yet.

lol. you could say I'm practically obsessed with the show. Someone could describe an episode to me and I'd know what series it was, who the doctor was, and the name of the episode. (but only with those three as the doctor...I've yet to watch any of the earlier stuff. with the other doctors.)

and who the campanion happened to be at the time. b/c the doctor always gets new companions. Eccelston had Rose Tyler (played by Billie Piper) and she was also in a season with then she left and tennant had Martha Jones, then Donna Noble, Astrid Pelth (I think that was her last name). oh and there were times with Tennant and Eccelston where they had a companion named Jack Harkness (who is played by the ABSOLUTELY AMAZING John Barrowman, who is unfortunately gay which is sad b/c he is hot!) There was also Mickey Smith (who at the beginning was dating Rose then they split b/c she fell for the Doctor) and there was sarah jane smith (who was actually a companion from back in the days of the older series...though I can't remember which doctor she ran with...but I do know she came back in this series a few times and even has her own spinoff show. which is actually pretty good...oh and Jack Harkness also got his own spinoff show called "Torchwood" which is really an anagram for Doctor Who. )

eh...ok, I'll stop with the doctor who info. lol.

lol. well after you've watched the show religiously for a few years you tend to remember this stuff. It's the same with Charmed too. I have the entire series on DVD.
