So she bet that she can build a time machine better than that crappy delorean.
Using her contacts, Lisa was able to acquire a ford gt prototype
And turned that into a time machine...
She added her updated flux capacitor on top
Of the ecoboost...

The 88 M.P.H. thing is actually a double layer metaphor. Place 8 on its side and it's a symbol of infinity. So 88 could count as double infinity. Also, it was an inside joke among DeLorean owners that the car had a hard time reaching 88 M.P.H. So it might as well time travel at that speed. Are you aware of how bad of a car the DeLorean DMC 12 is?
