Atlas is a member of Team Silverwind who serves as the team's main battler. In his past, Atlas used to have a lot of anger problems and aggression, but has mellowed out considerably as he's taught himself to channel that energy elsewhere, and is a much happier person these days. These days he's actually the team's mediator when things go awry. He's very sweet to those he cares about and serves as a supportive and uplifting force for the team. He will do anything to defend those he cares about. However, this can come as a detriment to himself, as he tends to put others before himself a little too often, which can result in his anger coming back out when he runs out of patience. He can also be very short-sighted and intrusive, which gets on his sister Quinn's nerves especially.

In battle, as a contrast to Castor, he gets straight to the point and hates to mess around. He takes on several enemies at once, though his teammates try to keep him from overwhelming himself.

Atlas and Quinn had a very rough upbringing. They didn't have a lot of support, and so they were left to themselves a lot. Atlas, after a rough series of events, ended up finding Quinn's egg when he was a child, and was the one who raised her- fed her, calmed her, cleaned her, taught her to fly and battle, the whole deal. They consider each other siblings, but Atlas sometimes acts more like a father to her, since, well, that's pretty much the role he had to fill to her. While he loves Quinn a lot and would do anything for her, this did a lot of damage to his psyche. He feels like he has to keep everything in control and takes on too many responsibilities, and even tries to be a parent to others around him. He doesn't really know how to relax and never got to live out his childhood. Castor helped him with a lot of this and he's doing much better, but even with his own child, Asha, he can get in over his head and forget that he does have Castor to help him.

Eventually, after a rough encounter, Atlas and Quinn were left on their own. Quinn would hide in his bag, refusing to interact with others. Atlas found it hard to sustain the two of them as they had very different needs and weren't independent enough to survive as wild Pokemon, and so he turned to a life of thievery. Though he did not want Quinn to get involved, her Hypnosis actually made his heists easier to pull off. While keeping her hidden in the bag, she would put their pursuers or any guards to sleep fast enough for Pokemon to miss her. Atlas agreed to this method thinking that he would take the fall for any punishment, and Quinn would get to go on and live a normal life.

Of course though, Pokemon were skeptical of a Heracross knowing the move Hypnosis. The Persian's Bounty Guild saw through Atlas's plan, but decided to use him as a test for their rookie team. As they struggled to capture him, Atlas only got more and more confident, beginning to have fun with his heists, until one day, a Gate opened before him, and a Gligar crashed into him.

Atlas was a simple guy at the end of the day. He struggled to wrap his head around the real life science-fiction he'd been thrown into, but he decided to try and be decent and help the Gligar, named Castor, up... and saw an odd purple gem fall out of his scarf. Because of the crash, the sculpture he'd stolen had broken, and he figured it'd make a good consolation prize. This would mark the beginning of a fierce rivalry between him and Castor once the latter had realized what happened. Though Atlas was annoyed with Castor's battle style, he found himself really engaged in their rivalry, even refusing to fight the rookie team that was actually after him because Castor wasn't with them.

Eventually, Castor figured out who Quinn was, which made Atlas get a lot more defensive and serious. He plead with Castor to leave her alone and only turn him in if it meant she got to be free. Castor had no intentions of turning anyone in though. He really just wanted his Eviolite back, and didn't really care about their fate. After a talk, however, the Gligar had a plan. Later that day, Castor would drag the both of them to the Persian's Bounty and request that the three of them be allowed to train there together as a team.

The team was formed largely out of convenience- Castor would get the training and resources he needed to try and return home, and Atlas and Quinn would work to repay their debts and be able to sustain themselves. There was naturally friction, as most Pokemon believe the team shouldn't have even been made, but after Atlas and Quinn's past came back to haunt the entire town, things began to look up for them. The teammates all began to form a genuine bond and grew to care immensely for one another, with Atlas and Castor even falling in love and having a child together, Asha. For a while, life was good.

Until a certain mission Silverwind took that resulted in every member going missing, including Asha. They found themselves outside of the gate to their world, unable to go back inside. Not only that, but eventually the four became separated. Quinn was the first to vanish, Castor was the second, and Atlas, the last remaining member, was left with Asha until he had vanished as well. The guild was devastated, and when too much time had passed and nothing turned up, considered the four to be dead.

Asha, however, had dedicated herself to finding her family and bringing all of them home, no matter how many worlds she has to search through. Ultra space may be big, but her love for her family is bigger.

-He is Castor's mate and Asha's father. He is also Quinn's adoptive older brother.

-Stereotypically for his species, he is obsessed with honey. His favorite is honey ice cream.

-After raising Quinn as an older brother-figure and living through his own past, Atlas has a massive soft spot for kids, and longs for his own. In fact, if a child is in danger, their assailant will be one of the few to witness Atlas's ruthless anger these days.

-Since he was the last to go missing, he spent the most time with Asha. He struggled in part due to his past issues with parenting Quinn alone, as well as Asha's unique problems, but he loves her a lot and wouldn't change a thing. He was also around when Skylar appeared, and when the child latched onto him, he pretty much adopted them as well.

-He's an open book, he can't hide an emotion for the life of him.

-He is actually quite small for a Heracross and somehow ended up being the shortest member of his team once Castor and Quinn evolved.
