I remember that scene primarily because my brother and spouse both asked me who the big razor blade tore in half, because Jazz had so few lines and bore little resemblance to what they knew. At least THIS version didn't require explanation.

I agree - poor Jazz is such a fan favourite, yet got such little love
But fear not - there are plenty of fanfics where he's revived (and it's in the UK TF comic too!)

Last summer we had a nice lightning storm and one hit a transformer. I said "There goes a transformer" and she yelled (no joke and there were 4 witnesses) "Jazz!!!"
