...the next day, as I went into the Barnes and Noble again to read the Bible, the voice said that it would teach me something. I almost didn’t listen, but at the last minute I got a pen from a salesperson at the indoor Starbucks café and sat down at a table. The voice then directed me to four verses in the Macarthur NIV study Bible and said “write each verse down”. These were the verses:

Eph 5:20 always giving thanks for all things in the name of our lord Jesus Christ to God ever the father.

Col 3:17 and in them you also once walked when you were living in them.

Col 2:17 things which are a mere shadow of what are to come, but the substance belongs to Christ

Rom 10:17 so faith comes from hearing and hearing by the word of Christ

I stared at the words of these four verses and tried to figure out if there was a common theme or teaching in them and found none. I said to the voice “what does this mean, do you mean I should read my Bible more?” It answered “yes” and then I thought it was just playing with me and started to push the paper aside, but just at the last minute it said “wait… write down the first word from all four verses in a sentence” and I followed its request and got:

“always and things so”

Then it said “write the sentence backwards” and then I wrote:

“So things and always”

Then I looked at the two phrases for a while but didn’t see any meaning in them. Then the voice said “now in the first sentence, the word ‘always’ means ‘forever’ and can be substituted with the words ‘heart’ and ‘Christ’”. I stared at the sentences for a moment and then figured out if I substituted the word “things” for “forever” the phrases would say:

“always and forever so”
“so forever and always”

I thought this was something special, something to do with loving God forever, and shed tears briefly – perhaps it was a small miracle...😃✝️
