Description
After the Breen Confederacy joins the Dominion, the Cardassians are increasingly treated as second-class allies.Through secret treaties that the Dominion concludes with the Breen and in which the Cardassians have to make territorial concessions to the Breen, as well as the losses that the Cardassians incur in the Battle of Septimus III, the Cardassian ambassador tries to counteract this through aggressive negotiations.
At a safe distance from the meeting point of the negotiating partners, the ambassador lands in a Belcanor-class transport ship with elite Cardassian ground troops who can intervene if necessary and protect the ambassador.
The first resistance arises and the rebellion is brought to life with the help of legate Damar.
