Description
After the Enterprise NX-01 left the drydock for its first test flight, T'pol decided to make the first Warp 5 jump with this ship to test the propulsion and navigation system.As it turned out, the navigation still needed to be improved as the NX-01 overshot its intended target, it was like a leap into the unknown that could lead to a quick sudden death.
Fortunately, T'pol was able to isolate the malfunction and return to Earth orbit, where engineers were able to correct the malfunction.
