Hiding out in the underground, the laid-back surfer Overbite has a soft spot for humans. He has since tried to pass himself off as a human – with varied success. A hulking man-shark, Overbite was trained by Lungfish to be an accomplished martial artist, with enhanced speed from underwater training. When he can, he prefers adventure above the waves, sometimes from his own surfboard – which he uses to develop his balance when out of the water. He is amphibious, able to breathe in water or air.

In addition to his already prodigious abilities, Overbite has innate “shark powers”. He instantly grows new teeth to replace lost or damaged ones and has heightened vision and sense of smell. Like all sharks, Overbite possesses a keen electric sense that can pick up energy signatures in the air or water. This has given him an unusual proclivity for music. He serves as mysterious bassist for the band Freaky Revolution, hiding out at Aqua World under Prof. Cloquet’s watchful eye.
