Description
Thought it was time for me to give my part to the tribute to one awesome shows, so let's get to the point:After 4 years, 9 shorts and 70 episodes, Tangled: The Series (Also known as Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure) is ending on March 1, 2020. Truth be told, I saw this coming. I won't get into but there a ton of signs telling us this would be the finale and thus, the show will be ending.
After the events of Tangled movie, and reuniting with her birth parents, King Frederic and Queen Arianna of Corona, Rapunzel is unable to properly adjust due to her father's constant protection. When she and her handmaiden Cassandra sneak out of the castle, they come upon some magical black rock spikes that magically restores Rapunzel's long blonde hair as they, Eugene, Pascal and Maximus uncover the mystery of her hair's return and its connection to the black rocks growing around Corona. Eventually, Rapunzel learns that Sundrop Flower's power resides in her with the black rocks directing her to the Dark Kingdom.
The second season centers around Rapunzel's group traveling to the Dark Kingdom while accompanied by Lance, Hook Foot, and Shorty and joined by the mysterious sword-wielding Adira of the Dark Kingdom. The group soon learn that the rocks are created by the Sundrop's counterpart: The Moonstone Opal. During the journey, Rapunzel learns the origins of the Sundrop and Moonstone as two halves of an ancient power seeking to be rejoined while sought by a demon warlock called Zhan Tiri, whose evil is mentioned in Corona's legends. Zhan Tiri returns to the physical world as a spirit and manipulates Cassandra into taking the Moonstone and turn on Rapunzel, setting up the third season as Rapunzel copes with Cassandra's betrayal while forced to become acting queen of Corona.
And that's where the third and final season comes in...
So according to Fandom wiki:
The season was ordered indirectly by Zachary Levi, while addressing the span of 78-long episodes for the series in an "Entertainment Tonight" interview. Its date was said to be October 7, which is a Monday; whereas the six episodes of the first season on Friday and the television movie Tangled: Before Ever After before changing the timeslot to Sunday mornings on Disney Channel starting with the seventh episode of season one and every episode of season two. After the premiere episode, thirty-five new episodes are to air on an unspecified time the day after a new episode airs. This new twist of airings further has fans confused as what time in the afternoon a new episode airs on Disney Channel.
From October 7th, 2019 to October 18th, 2019 have aired nine episodes, while 2020 (which is this year) will conclude with two episodes of the show left to air with the six episodes have aired, leading up to Eugene and Princess Rapunzel's wedding day in which, where Tangled Ever After short took place.
So, like The Lion Guard, 3 Seasons is a nice number, making a best disney tv show to reach it. There have been over 70 episodes and they've done enough to fill up those episodes. Besides with the show's formulaic nature, there's only so much you can do. Honestly, I'm surprised it to go 3 Seasons while still going us plenty of unique stories and development. I have experience all the fun, a bit of romance and adventure that the show had over the years since the show aired from March 24, 2017 after Tangled: Before Ever After on March 10, 2017. The show reveals that Eugene Fitzherbert has come from the dark kingdom and he has a long lost father, King Edmund.
Of course the finale could cover it, but with the plot it is has, I'm not quite sure. But, Actually, there's is no few other things to cover first. Not a lot to say about that. It's awesome. The last and final episode will be aired on March 1, which is called, "Plus est en Vous". I just hoped that the final season of Tangled: The Series doesn't end the series with a sad ending. The title is French for "More in You" which is what Queen Arianna had written in the journal she had given to her long-lost teenage daughter as an early coronation gift that translated to "There's More in You"
The final episode where Rapunzel and her friends must take Corona back from Cassandra, and finally confront the evil Zhan Tiri. So yeah, I hope the finale is great, never to end the cliffhanger, and even if it has its flaws, there's no doubt the actual ending will cause oceans of tears... even from me. If Cassandra doesn't get to be redeemed soon, maybe maybe the reason why she hadn't show up in Tangled Ever After.
Overall, I'm beyond hyped for all the stuff we should expect in the coming years and months. It had a great and awesome run and no matter what happens, it will still exist, in merchandise to be exact. And reruns as well. I really enjoy liking and loving the characters in the show, especially Eugene, Rapunzel, Varian and Strongbow. Yeah, despite of still doing fanart/crossover art, I'm still doing fanart of it, and I won't stop because of the finale.
And now that's all I got. There's a lot to forward to, and if you're sad about the show ending just look on the bright side. Despite new shows that are coming out and in development, We still have Amphibia, Big Hero: The Series, Duck Tales and over on television. Lots of stuff to watch.
So, there you have it!
