this reminds me of a joke we have here in mexico about a bunch of little chickens looking at the window of a roast chicken restaurant, and someone passes by and asks the little chickens what are they doing and they say, "we are waiting for mom to come down from the ferris wheel"

on the subject of idea, this is brilliant, i love how even without being a comic strip, the whole image tells the tale how it manages to steer the eyes of the viewer from the start of the story to its end that being the punch line
