I'm very proud of this actually.

Yeah... before Makayla's redemption arc she kills Amanda... and then... here's the scene I wrote:

Aaron clutches Amanda’s limp body to his chest, crying into her golden locks.
Makayla’s voice picks up as she says, “Now you know the pain of which I have felt.”
Aaron looks up, horror and grief clearly written on his face, “Why?”
“Why? Because she was a fool to ever believe in someone like me.”
His face changed to rage as he said, “She saw hope! All she did was hope! Hope for a better future; hope for a better world; hope for you!”
Makayla sadly smiled, “Hope. Is a lie.” She lifted her arm towards Aaron, “But I’m not going to let you live long enough to know why.”
She blasted Aaron with her wicked energy until both he and Amanda were ashes.

TL;DR
She kills Aaron too.
